For most of the semester, I haven’t allowed myself much time to get outside and trek about (Spring Break the exception). During the latter portion of the semester, I’ve been trying to do better by myself. Work is important, of course, but so too is taking care of one’s own soul. Moments like this one, a quiet pause on a Bulow Creek State Park morning, can do much to replenish my energy.
