A perspective of the infamous Loop Road in Big Cypress National Preserve. A while ago, this road was a bit of a hidden gem in Big Cypress. I wouldn’t see too many people on it when visiting. Nowadays, however, and likely because of social media, Loop Road is an active hotspot for road cruisers. On that note, I should also add that Big Cypress and Everglades National Park were absolutely hopping with people during this visit. I’ve done the Spring Break run down there many times in the past, and I’ve never seen so many people out and about in that area. I wonder if more people are going out post-Covid?
