Spring Break 2023
I came across a decent number of Black-crowned night herons on this particular trip. I’m not sure I snagged any really great shots of them, though. I struggled a bit with the morning light, and by the time the sun was up the night herons were mostly tucked beneath cover. No complaints from me, though. Seeing them is good enough, and if I can manage a modicum of clarity in a photograph, that’s enough for me!
