    • I thank you! I certainly have a lot of fun photographing almost everything I can focus on, but I’m always a bit extra delighted when the photos really work out! As for watersnakes, they’re strong and robust, not loose and hyper-flexible. The scales are really cool to the touch. The keeling (the little ridges on each scale) create a kind of line as you move your hand down the torso. A really cool, most-excellent texture!

      • That sounds amazing. I have always had an interest in snakes, lizards etc so it is nice to see your photos. Also you don’t take the obvious picture, you are more creative like this photo. It really works 🙂🙂
