Aspidoscelis sexlineatus sexlineatus, 29 April 2013

Aspidoscelis sexlineatus sexlineatus, the Eastern six-lined racerunner;
Hamilton county, Florida (29 April 2013).

Racerunners are simply not easy to catch by hand. They earn their name well because, man, they are quick to race away. I’m grateful I was able to creep somewhat close to this one.
