Ventral U-Coil Shot

A ventral u-coil reference shot of the Nerodia’s mid-torso. Again, this is a fairly classic Nerodia fasciata pattern. It just blows my mind I found this snake in the thick of a coastal salt marsh hanging out on a muddy stand.
