Bubulcus ibis, the Cattle egret;
Volusia county, Florida (17 March 2015).

Oh, man, do I love Cattle egret. They’re so-named because they love to hang around cattle in fields, picking and poking about for an arthropodic snack, but they also seem to sometimes enjoy the shrubs around my neighborhood.
